ABOUT THE BULLDOGS

Ohio’s Ms. Basketball last season, Alston, is back and looks to end her career with the Bulldogs on a positive note. Alston, who will play at Ohio State next year, averaged 20.3 points per game last season. But Kendall and Turner are the only returning letter winners joining her. McKinley will be young, with seven newcomers including likely freshmen starters in Newkirk and Petit. Davis says the key to the season is blending the veterans with inexperienced players, yet playing the same style of attacking basketball that won the 2010 state title.
