Glover-Williams, Lott (6th), Ranalli (7th) and Palmer; Conner, Sherman (7th) and Ellebrauch
  (Barberton, OH) Canton McKinley (11-11) rallied from a 4-1 deficit to defeat host Barberton (15-9) 10-5 in their first game at the Canton Division l Sectional Baseball Tournament.  The Bulldogs advance and play at North Canton Hoover (16-7) on Thursday at 4:30 pm.
 
After trailing 4-1 after three innings, McKinley tied the game on a two-out bases clearing double by Chad Fite (Sr.).  The Bulldogs then took their first lead at 5-4 in the fifth on Eric Glover-Williams (Fr.) two out single.  McKinley increased the lead to 6-4 when Mike Ranalli (Sr.) scored on the back end of a double steal.  Justin Palmer (Sr.) then singled home Glover-Wiliams to give the Bulldogs a 7-4 lead.
 
Leading 7-5 heading into the seventh, McKinley put the game away with a three-run inning keyed by Brook Clark's (Sr.) bases loaded two-run single to increase the lead to 9-5.
 
Glover-Williams went 5.2 innings to pick-up the win to even his record at 2-2. He also went 4-5 with four singles, an RBI and three stolen bases.  Brook Clark had three singles, two RBI and was hit by a pitch, and Chad Fite was 2-3 with a sacrifice fly and four RBI.

The Bulldogs scored their only runs in the second when Brook Clark led off the inning with a double, Joe Isla drew a walk and then Travonte Fields doubled to score Clark and Isla. The Bulldogs would hold the lead until the 6th inning when the Vikings would score 4 runs on 3 hits to secure the win.

NOTES - On the strength of a pair of four-run innings, Canton McKinley (12-12, 3-6) defeated Youngstown Boardman (15-7, 8-2) 10-2 in Federal League action Friday at Don Scott Field. The Bulldogs win prevented Boardman from clinching the Federal League title. The two teams play at Boardman at 11 am on Saturday.
 
After Boardman took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second inning, McKinley tied the game in the bottom of the inning on a Terrance Burt double. They would take the lead when Burt scored on the back end of a double steal.
 
After Boardman tied the game in the top of the third, McKinley scored four runs in the bottom of the inning to take a 6-2 lead. Trevonte Fields and Chris Mills each had two-run singles.
 
The Bulldogs put the game away with a four-run sixth. Brook Clark doubled to make it 7-2 and Justin Palmer cleared the bases with a double to give McKinley a 10-2 lead.
 
Brook Clark had two doubles and drove in a run and Palmer was 2-3 with a double and three RBI. Joe Isla and Eric Glover-Williams each had two hits.
 
Mike Ranalli went the distance to improve to 4-4 on the season.  He fanned four and retired 13 of the last 16 batters.
